Method of producing a rainbow-colored scorched rice by using natural coloring powder

A disclosed method of producing iridescent scorched rice using a natural coloring powder provides iridescent scorched rice using the natural coloring powder, which has a good texture by using an eco-friendly natural coloring powder which can be obtained from the nature and corresponds to iridescence of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet, thereby exhibiting excellent aesthetic sense and harmoniously maintaining natural tastes of rice and powder. The method according to the present invention comprises: a step (S1) of cooking rice; a step (S2) of adopting and preparing a natural coloring powder correspondingly to scorched rice of a color to be made, and uniformly mixing the prepared natural coloring powder with the rice cooked in the step (S1); a step (S3) of roundly forming a mixture of the natural coloring powder and rice with a weight of 13 to 14 g after performing the step (S2); a step (S4) of, after performing the step (S3), putting the formed mixture into a mold frame of a scorched rice machine, and baking the formed mixture at the temperature of 170 to 180°C for 9 to 10 minutes depending on material; and a step (S5) of, after performing the step (S4), cooling the baked material in a natural state, and packing and shipping the resulting material.
