The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based home theater voice control device and a method thereof. The artificial intelligence-based home theater voice control device separates and synthesizes a voice outputted from an electronic device of a user. The artificial intelligence-based home theater voice control device includes: an input part receiving the voice; and a processor separating and extracting a first signal indicating a voice signal related with a language or line and a second signal indicating a voice signal related with a background sound or effect sound from the voice of the input part, performing uncoached learning by extracting characteristic vectors of the first and second signals, and calculating a difference in amplitude between the first and second signals in accordance with a result of the uncoached learning and controlling the difference in accordance with an output mode preset by the user. According to the present invention, since the device provides a voice synthesized by maintaining a balance between desired and undesired signals of a user from a voice signal, the user can watch content more effectively.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
