VP2 Novel Vibrio specific bacteriophage VP2 and antibacterial composition comprising the same

The present invention relates to a novel vibrio specific bacteriophage VP2 and, more specifically, to an antibacterial composition comprising the vibrio specific bacteriophage VP2. The bacteriophage VP2 according to the present invention has advantages of having high specificity against vibrios, excellent lytic activity by being infected in vibrios and proliferating inside the vibrios, and strong resistance against physicochemical stimuli. In addition, the bacteriophage VP2 of the present invention is not infected in other hosts than bacteria, such as humans, animals, and plants, and can thus solve problems of antibiotic resistant bacteria due to abuse or misuse of antibiotics, problems of antibiotics remaining in food, and problems of a wide host range, thereby being variously usable in the fields of antibiotic compositions, feed addition compositions, feeds, disinfectants, or detergents.
