The present invention relates to a method for preparing an ABS-based graft copolymer and a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the same and, more specifically, to a method for preparing an ABS-based graft copolymer comprising inputting and partially grafting a small amount of vinyl aromatic compounds and vinyl cyanide compounds before thickening small-bore rubber latex, inputting a rubber coagulant within a specific content range and thickening rubber latex, and a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the same. According to the present invention, an ABS-based graft copolymer with excellent stability and improved impact resistance can be provided.
