The present invention relates to a sustained-release formulation for oral administration of an ivy leaf extract and a method for manufacturing the same. The sustained-release formulation of the present invention can constantly release an active component irrespective of changes in a state of long-term exercise and pH of a gastrointestinal tract. In addition, the sustained-release formulation can release the active component at a uniform speed in the body over 24 hours, thereby being able to deliver a drug by once a day administration and improve medication compliance.
