The present invention relates to a solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) for protecting a secondary battery negative electrode including amino-functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which can be applied as a negative electrode for a lithium metal secondary battery having stable and high coulombic efficiency, and to a preparing method thereof, and a lithium metal secondary battery including the same. The SEI for protecting a secondary battery negative electrode includes multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The multi-walled carbon nanotubes have the diameter of 50 to 300 nm and the length of 3 to 50 μm.
