The present invention discloses a mask assembly, a manufacturing method thereof, and a manufacturing method of the display device. The mask assembly comprises: a mask frame; a mask sheet disposed on the mask frame while being mounted and having at least one opening formed thereon so that deposition materials pass; and a blocking unit disposed between the mask sheet and mask frame while being mounted and defining a deposition area of the mask sheet. The blocking unit includes a main body unit and a protrusion unit protruding from the main body unit. At least one of both ends of the main body unit is different from another portion having a width perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the main body unit.
