The present invention provides a method for storing an animal muzzle pattern based on blockchain and using a muzzle pattern. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprise: an object image photographing process of photographing an object image of an animal by a camera; a muzzle pattern data acquiring process of acquiring muzzle pattern data, which is a characteristic point unique to the photographed object image, by a muzzle pattern management terminal; a blockchain storing process of storing the acquired muzzle pattern data and owner information through a blockchain network in a blockchain method by the muzzle pattern management terminal; and a blockchain update process of storing a blockchain update in the blockchain network to be matched to an update event if the update event on the stored muzzle pattern data in the blockchain method occurs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
