The present invention relates to a method for producing a transgenic plant having resistance to blast fungus resistance using a rice-derived OsSUS4 gene and a plant, and more particularly, to a method for producing a plant having resistance to blast disease by overexpressing the OsSUS4 gene derived from rice, Lt; / RTI Therefore, the OsSUS4 gene is expected to be very useful for the development of a transgenic plant resistant to blast fungus, and it is possible to obtain a plant resistant to the blast disease by using the OsSUS4 gene, which can contribute to increase in yield of economic crops .
