The present invention relates to a positive electrode containing a solid super acid and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery including the same, and to improve electrochemical and life characteristics of a positive electrode using sulfur as an active material. The positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur secondary battery according to the present invention contains sulfur and a solid super acid. Because of this, since the solid super acid in the positive electrode does not affect the electrochemical properties of the positive electrode containing sulfur, sulfur itself can be utilized as a positive electrode active material without technical processing. As a result, a decrease in energy density of the lithium-sulfur secondary battery can be minimized. In addition, the solid super acid in the positive electrode can improve the long-life characteristics of the lithium-sulfur secondary battery by controlling polysulfide, which is an intermediate product of the charge and discharge reaction between lithium and sulfur.
