Provided are a self-completion type food control service providing system for adjusting symptoms of functional gastrointestinal diseases and a method for providing a food control service thereof. A user terminal, when a food control application, which provides food control guidelines according to symptoms of a user, operates in a detail service providing mode for each user, can accept input of food information (hereinafter referred to as symptom-induced food information for each user) which is ingested before functional gastrointestinal symptoms and functional gastrointestinal symptoms of the user occur through the food control application. When a disease diagnosis and food control server receives the functional gastrointestinal symptoms and symptom-induced food information for each user are received from the user terminal, a server analyzes received functional gastrointestinal symptoms to diagnose functional gastrointestinal diseases of the user, and then analyzes received symptom-induced food information for each user, followed by preparing food control guidelines for preventing diagnosed functional gastrointestinal diseases to provide the same to the user terminal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
