The present invention relates to a device for caring a senior citizen who lives alone. The device for caring a senior citizen who lives alone includes: a door opening sensing unit attached to a door of a refrigerator by including a first communication module and determining whether the number of door opening is less than a reference value in predetermined time by sensing the door opening of the refrigerator; and a danger alarm providing unit attached to the front of a front door and including a second communication module wirelessly communicating with the first communication module, wherein the danger alarm providing unit forms an alarm signal in the front of the front door to request a help to an external organization by determining that a senior citizen living alone at home is in an emergency situation when it is detected that the number of the door opening is less than the reference value. According to the present invention, the device for caring a senior citizen who lives alone can detect that the senior citizens living alone are in the emergency situation by monitoring physical activities of the senior citizen such as the senior citizen living alone at home using the door opening of the refrigerator positioned at home. Therefore, the device for caring a senior citizen who lives alone can safely protect the senior citizen living at home in a dangerous situation by forming the alarm signal to request help from an external organization or people by displaying a rescue signal on the front of the front door based on the same.
