The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to correct an image based on a coaxial cable for a high-definition camera, and a system thereof and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method to correct an image based on a coaxial cable for a high-definition camera, capable of supporting the image correction of a high-definition camera in accordance with a control signal by transmitting the control signal, which is provided from a device receiving an image from the camera, through a coaxial cable, while supplying power to the camera through the coaxial cable, and a system thereof. According to the present invention, since a COC signal, which is a control signal generated for changing settings of a camera part, is inserted into an empty section, which is adjacent to a sync signal of an image signal provided from the camera part, to be transmitted to the camera part through a coaxial cable, the COC signal is accurately delivered to the camera part without interference with other signals to support the transmission of an image, which is corrected by being preprocessed in the camera part in accordance with the COC signal, from the camera part to the image receiving device, while guaranteeing system reliability in camera control, thereby guaranteeing the quality of a high-definition image signal.
