The present invention relates to a reagent composition for measuring glycated hemoglobin for diagnosing diabetes and a method for measuring glycated hemoglobin using the same, and more specifically, a reagent for measuring glycated hemoglobin comprising silica nanoparticles-boronic acid encapsulating dye. It relates to a composition and a method for measuring glycated hemoglobin using the same. The method for measuring glycated hemoglobin according to the present invention is a reagent for measuring glycated hemoglobin comprising (a) (i) hemolytic blood and (ii) "silica nanoparticles-boronic acid encapsulated with dye" specifically binding to glycated hemoglobin. Hemolysis and reaction of the blood sample into the composition; (b) administering the reactants to an absorption pad of the cartridge followed by washing with a wash solution; (c) measuring the amount of total hemoglobin and glycated hemoglobin by measuring optical reflectance of the absorption pad with an optical instrument; And (d) calculating a ratio of glycated hemoglobin based on the measured total hemoglobin and glycated hemoglobin levels. The reagent composition for measuring glycated hemoglobin according to the present invention is encapsulated with a dye inside the silica nanoparticles, so the absorption wavelength of the dye is not affected by pH, and has excellent stability even when stored for one month or more.
