FIELD: processing and recycling of waste.;SUBSTANCE: invention describes a process for the treatment of municipal solid waste, where large waste is preliminarily extracted, and the remaining mass is crushed and dried, at that the grinding and drying is carried out simultaneously in a drum mill until the solid components of the remaining mass conglomerate. Also disclosed is a device for processing municipal solid waste, that contains feed conveyors, thermal unit, finished product bunker, drum mill, cyclone with one fan, condenser, air ducts, damper, the thermal unit is equipped with a shut-off device and another fan, the output of the thermal unit through the shut-off device and the output of the feeding conveyor are connected to the inlet of the drum mill, output of which through the air ducts is connected to the cyclone input and through the damper to the input of the condenser, the output of which is connected to the input of the thermal unit, the output of the cyclone through the metering device is connected to the input of the finished product bins.;EFFECT: technical result consists in creating an efficient method for processing municipal solid waste and household waste and improving the environmental friendliness of the process.;5 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
