FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: to ensure engine power increase to maximum power, the clutch control system of the next piston of the compressor connects the connecting shaft with the piston compressor crank-piston mechanism, and the next compressor piston (the compressor can include one to several pistons) moves into the upper dead point. Compressed air in above piston cavity of the next piston of compressor is supplied to pneumatic accumulator and to external combustion chamber and at moment of time, when mass of compressor supplied from above piston cavity of the next piston into external combustion chamber ensures increase of engine power to maximum power, opens valve of excess air release from above-piston cavity of the next piston of the compressor. Supply of air into external combustion chamber is stopped, and engine action up to maximum power is provided.;EFFECT: increasing engine power to maximum power.;1 cl, 1 dwg
