FIELD: machine building; knitting.;SUBSTANCE: method, an elongating device, a warp knitting machine comprising elongating device for producing nets with elongated stitches and a net comprising elongated stitches is described. Method comprises steps of continuous creation of new loops for stretching two rows of loops with additional loops and drawing rows of loops in machine direction, creation of first stitch of weft by connection of weft with loop of first row and with loop of second row, arrangement of first stitch across surface of stretching device to prevent movement of first stitch together with bases interlaced with knitted weave with loops, in machine direction. Described is a stretching device for stretching stitches.;EFFECT: connection is made with possibility of first stitch stretching by means of additional weft material stretching, and tensile device surface performs alternating-return movement towards the first stitch.;1 cl, 10 dwg
