FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used for prediction of risk of arterial hypertension in metabolic syndrome in practically healthy men of military age. That is ensured by the patient's uric acid level, office mean pulse pressure, echocardiography. Besides, pulse wave velocity in muscular and elastic vessels is additionally determined by sphygmometry in order to calculate development risk indicator (DRI) by developed formula. And if DRI1, the risk is considered to be insignificant, there is no adherence to the development of arterial hypertension in metabolic syndrome, and if DRI≥1 – significant, the patient is referred to a risk group of arterial hypertension in metabolic syndrome.;EFFECT: invention provides an effective and accessible method for verification of risk groups for developing arterial hypertension in metabolic syndrome in practically healthy men of military age.;1 cl, 2 ex
