Support used is aluminium oxide, pre-saturated with a solution of hexamethyltrisiloxane in acetone, dried at temperature of 100 °C and calcined at temperature of 450–550 °C, for impregnation a combined impregnating solution containing a phosphoric-molybdenum or phosphoric-tungsten heteropolycomplex, ions of metals of Group VIII Me2+, an organic complexing agent from a series of oxyacids - citric acid. Invention also relates to a catalyst having the following content of components, wt. %: CoO and/or NiO 2.0–5.0; MoO3 14.0–20.0; WO3 6.0–0.0; P2O5 0.2–0.8; SiO2 0.1 to 1.0; aluminium oxide is the balance.;EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of the hydrotreating process.;4 cl, 1 tbl, 9 ex
