The present invention relates to the development and formulation of a new ingredient, a concentrated oily extract from 3 species of zooplankton: Artemia salina, Eurytemora affinis and Brachionus plicatis. This invention is based on the nutritional association of the oils present in the three species of Zooplankton and on the process for obtaining this oily ingredient. Faced with the growing demand for aquaculture and the stagnation of the fish-based production of flours and oils, it seems important to reduce the proportion of fish oil in aquaculture feeds. The present invention aims to provide a nutritionally rich oil that can replace fish oil in certain aquaculture foods.
