A tool for removing a fuse carrier comprises an angled pry tip a and a body b which can be inserted into a shaft, adaptor and or handle, wherein the pry tip is used to insert into and release the fuse carrier on fused connection units and UK type G plug to remove, replace or inspect a fuse. The tip may be wider at the base than at the tip, or may be the same thickness throughout. The tip may also have a cutaway portion (c, fig 8). The body may have an hexagonal or cylindrical shape, and may be held in the handle by a magnet or a push button. The body may also have a second tip at the other end of the body (fig 4).
