The present invention relates to a method and a device (20) for managing the energy of a hybrid power plant (10) of a multirotor aircraft (1) during a flight. Said hybrid power plant (10) comprises a heat engine (15), an electric generator (12,16) and several electric motors (12,17) as well as several storage devices (18) of electric energy. Said aircraft (1) comprises several rotors (2) driven in rotation respectively by an electric motor (12,17). Said flight of said aircraft (1) comprises a take-off phase, a cruising phase and a landing phase, said take-off phase and said landing phase being carried out only by consuming electrical energy. Said method makes it possible to calculate an electrification rate R sub Elec /sub of said flight as a function of the electrical and thermal energies consumed during said phases of takeoff, landing and cruising, thereby limiting as much as necessary the use of said heat engine (15) during the cruising phase and, consequently, the nuisances which accompany it.
