Prognostic indicators of poor outcomes in the PRAEGNANT metastatic breast cancer cohort

Transcriptomics data from the tumor tissue of patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer are clustered and associated with overall patient survival. A subset of genes from one of the clusters associated with poor outcomes is used to create a survival prediction model that predicts survival based on expression levels of multiple genes. The survival prediction model thus generated can be used to predict the survival time of a patient diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, and the treatment regimen can be updated or generated based on the survival time.
