To provide a hard surface detergent composition used for a washing machine for cleaning articles having a hard surface, cleaning the article and preventing generation of bacterial flora coagulation in the washing machine and sterilizing bacterial flora coagulation existing in the washing machine, especially a hard surface detergent composition effective for prevention of generation of the flora coagulation containing Meiothermus microorganism and Tepidimonas microorganism or sterilization of the bacterial flora coagulation, a sterilization method of microorganism or the bacterial flora coagulation including the same, a method for preventing the bacterial flora coagulation including the microorganism from generating in the washing machine, and a bactericidal agent having sterilization force on the microorganism.SOLUTION: There is provided a hard surface detergent composition containing a chlorine agent (A) and an alkali agent (B), used in a washing machine for cleaning articles having a hard surface for washing the articles, and preventing a bacterial flora coagulation in the washing machine or sterilizing the bacterial flora coagulation existing in the washing machine.SELECTED DRAWING: None
