To provide a transformer disassembling method capable of reducing the labor of an operator, lowering the frequency of work at high places as compared with the prior art, and improving safety.SOLUTION: A method of disassembling a transformer body after an exterior part is removed by discharging and processing PCB when containing an insulating oil or a PCB included in an insulating oil, includes: a casing upper part cutting step S020 of cutting and removing the upper part of a casing constituting the transformer body to open an internal element; a coil upper part cutting step S060 of bonding an upper yoke and an iron core which are internal elements constituting the casing and the transformer main body via a jig after the casing upper part cutting step; and a coil middle part cutting step S120 of bonding the casing and the iron core via the jig, and cutting and removing the casing and the jig as an integrated body after the coil upper part cutting step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
