PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and efficient respiratory monitor capable of performing a plurality of lung function tests and other related measurements, which can be reliably used for a longer period of time. Disclosed is a measurement system that includes features for detecting the presence of nitric oxide from a gas sample, such as exhaled breath. The measurement system includes an assembly that introduces one or more reducing gases into the reactor-sensor assembly, which helps stabilize the sensor signal response and also improves the performance change of the assembly over time. .
