To solve problems when shelves for storage are desired to be prepared for a closet and a kitchen, in which it is very difficult to find a product of the size desired because the size is fixed in the commercially available shelves, and the cutting of shelf boards and other plate materials is often performed in a plate material purchase shop when the shelves are made by himself and the plate materials being cut in the required size can be obtained; however, when the plate material is connected with the plate material, a jig for perpendicularly fixing the plate material and tools such as drills are required, and a machining technique of screwing a wood screw straight at the specified position or drilling a hole straight at the specified position using a drill is required.SOLUTION: A plate material connector is made with plastic or metal having a groove of the same size as the thickness of the plate material of the present invention, in which the plate material is fitted in the groove and can be fixed by adhesives and wood screws. The plate material connectors of orthogonal 2-directions (L-type), 3-directions (T-type) or 4-directions (cross type) are used, and thereby a jig for perpendicularly fixing the plate material and tools such as drills are not required, and a machining technique of screwing a wood screw straight at the specified position or drilling a hole straight at the specified position using a drill is not required, and a shelf and a box of any shape can be assembled.
