Drainage blocks used as road pavements for embankments or urban environments have drainage and water buffering properties. The drain block has a porous / water permeable pavement or clinker with drainage and water buffering properties and can be used as a pavement in urban areas or as a foundation or substructure under road layers. The drain block has four sides, a base, and a single stem connecting the slab and the base. The stem has a cross-sectional area smaller than the cross-sectional area of the slab and the cross-sectional area of the base, thereby forming a water buffer space between the slab and the base. Also, each of the four sides of the slab includes a single spacing protrusion.
