PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in grape cultivation capable of both achieving high sugar content, improvement in coloring, improvement in smell and taste, and downsizing in berries so as to make a wine from the cultured grapes and provide the wine having excellent quality in color and smell.SOLUTION: By carrying out both of pinching and removal (cluster thinning) of spica (primary fruit) at a stage from extension of new branch to flowering after bud formation of grape (grape tree) and leafing stage, a fruit development stage, and a berry growing stage, generation of sub branch and formation of spica on the sub branch (secondary fruit) are induced at an early stage in order to obtain grapes both achieving high sugar content, improvement in coloring, improvement in smell and taste, and downsizing in berries. In addition, there is provided a wine having excellent quality in both of color and smell by making the wine from the grapes cultured with the cultivation method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
