PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase capable of facilitating removal of dust and insects without time and labor when the dust and the insects adhere to a filter attached to a suction port.SOLUTION: An open showcase includes: a showcase body 2 whose cross sectional shape is formed to be a U-shape and that includes a merchandise display chamber 3 inside and an opening 4 in a front part; a duct 5 arranged in the showcase body 2, where air flows inside; an air outlet 8 arranged on an upper part of the duct 5 and blowing out the air flowing inside the duct 5; a suction port 9 arranged on a lower part of the duct 5 and sucking the air blown out from the air outlet 8; a filter 12 attached to the suction port 9; a merchandise display body 11 arranged in a lower part of the merchandise display chamber 3 and slidable in a front and rear direction; and a brush 18 arranged in the merchandise display body 11 and having a slidable contact with an upper surface of the filter 12 with a slide motion of the merchandise display body 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
