PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect, after instructing to destroy a storage device included in an information processing device, whether or not the target storage device has been destroyed correctly.SOLUTION: A remote destruction system S comprises: a management server 1 connected to a network; a smart phone 3 that is capable of communicating with the management server 1 and includes a flash memory and a remote control tool for controlling the flash memory according to an instruction from the management server 1; and a registration terminal 5 that is capable of communicating with the management server 1 through the network and includes instruction means for instructing the management server 1. The instruction means in the registration terminal 5 instructs the management server 1 to destroy a storage device included in the smart phone 3. The management server 1 instructs the smart phone 3 to destroy the storage device included in the smart phone 3. The smart phone 3 destroys the flash memory included in the smart phone 3 by using the remote control tool before determining a destruction result, and transmits the destruction result of the flash memory to the management server 1 through the network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
