To provide a cargo-collapse prediction system adapted to prevent a cargo collapse in advance by predicting and notifying a cargo collapse during transportation.SOLUTION: A cargo-collapse prediction system 2 comprises a cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22 that is attached to each cargo 14 changeable in mutual positional relationship and a notification apparatus 28 that notifies a prediction result of a cargo collapse by the cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22. The cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22 comprises an identification-signal transmitting section, an identification-signal receiving section, a distance detecting section and a cargo-collapse predicting section. The identification-signal transmitting section transmits an identification signal including unique identification information. The identification-signal receiving apparatus receives the identification signal from another cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22. The distance detecting section detects a distance to the other cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22 based on the received identification signal and identification information included in the identification signal. The cargo-collapse predicting section predicts that a cargo collapse is occurring between two cargoes 14 based on the distance to the other cargo-collapse prediction apparatus 22 detected by the distance detecting section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
