PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a network configuration diagram of a ring type network in a compact and easy-to-view manner.SOLUTION: A network configuration diagram output device includes: a connection information input part for reading connection information and layer information of a network in which a plurality of inter-nodes are configured by a ring type network, wherein the more the inter-nodes have network characteristics with the number of subordinate nodes belonging thereto, the higher layers are set; a vertical arrangement part for arranging a ring with a node on a low layer connected thereto in a vertically inner side of a closure in the closure in which there are a plurality of rings connected to a blanket being any of set of nodes constituting a connection part of rings to each other, a set of nodes of a layer having a higher layer than the other nodes connected to the highest-order ring, and respective nodes on a lower layer than the other nodes connected to the lowest ring; and a configuration diagram output part for outputting information indicating a result of the arrangements of rings and nodes by the vertical arrangement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
