To provide a detection method for a sea ice region in a polar sea region.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a detection method for a sea ice region in a polar sea region which can accurately detect and distinguish a sea ice region, a seawater region, and a land region in a polar sea region, and a detection system for the detection method are provided.
