The present invention relates to an ultraviolet irradiation device for water treatment to be used in water purification plants, drinking water production facilities and so forth. Provided is an ultraviolet irradiation device that comprises: an inlet (1A) into which raw water flows; an outlet (1B) out of which treated water flows; a flow passage structure (1) that has a flow passage (2) that communicates with the inlet (1A) and the outlet (1B); a perforated member (5) that is disposed so as to cover the flow passage (2) and that has a plurality of through holes (6); and a plurality of ultraviolet light emitting diodes (8) that irradiate the plurality of through holes (6) with ultraviolet radiation.
