the invention discloses a scale scale with a base, a support for the balance arm, a balance arm, a pointer with a counterbalance and a movable nameplate containing descriptions. the arm of the scale has a tray at each end, where one tray contains an article that represents humanity with sin and the other tray contains an article that represents the redemptive work of jesus christ. the articles in each tray have equal or approximately equal weights. the scale rotates when the weight of the items is added or removed from the trays, and the rotation of the scale will determine which description the pointer should point to. the present invention can be used as an aid to Christian teaching, showing the benefit of choosing to accept the death of christ as a total payment for our sins, also showing the consequence of our refusal to accept the death of christ as a payment for our sins.
