a drainage block for dikes or urban settings and for use as a highway pavement is provided with drainage and temporary water storage properties. drainage blocks can be used in urban areas such as pavement, or foundation or substructure under a street layer with porous stones or pavement clinker / with passage of water with drainage and temporary water storage properties. the drainage blocks comprise four side faces, a base, and a single rod that connects the plate and the base, that rod has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than the cross-sectional areas of the plate and the base, forming a temporary water storage space between the plate and the base; and wherein each of the four side faces of the plate comprises a single spacing projection.
