The present invention relates to a composition made from cypermethrin and mixed with some powdered compounds. Said compounds maintain the effect of the insecticide for a long period and high efficiency, thus allowing introducing it to places of difficult access. The powder is sprayed by conventional means into wall voids, inside furniture, in enclosed spaces, above low ceilings, behind appliances, and where arthropods are desired to extinguish. The action of cypermethrin causes drowning by obstructing the spiracles and the particles remained, attract the arthropod and attacks from its organism. Also, it allows using it on the water by the flour, which generates a sticky but attractive paste, serving as a conventional trap and providing contaminated food by cypermethrin, thus extinguishing the arthropod.
