Device for delaying introduction of agents to a cistern

A refillable, stand-alone in-cistern device that is activated only by the rising and falling of the water in the cistern. The introduction of a concentrated dose of liquid cleansing agent is delayed so as to be added to the last part of the flush cycle of the toilet. A first container (10) holds the concentrated cleansing agent (3). A second container (4) holds water that has been dosed with cleansing agent from the first container in a previous cycle. This dosed water is held in the second container by a bottom float (6) which blocks a hole (5) in the its base. When the toilet is flushed and the water level falls below the bottom float the dosed water is released in to the final part of the flush cycle. As the cistern fills again the bottom float seals the second container. When the water level reaches the top of the second container it is able to fill it through an opening at the top (1), mixing with the cleansing agent dispensed from the first container before the first container is sealed by a rising liquid reservoir float (9). When the water level reaches the top of the second container it is sealed by a top float (2). The device is now reset and ready to operate again.
