The object of the invention is a device for self-examination of current psychophysical performance, comprising a user panel, a control module, an exposure module and a power supply (6),where the exposure module contains the housing (2) and the light source (4),and the exposure module, the control module, the user panel and the power supply (6) are connected and configured in such a way that the user can switch the light source (2) into the exposure module through the user panel by means of the control module, characterised by the fact that the user panel contains: activate the flashing of the light source at the highest frequency F1; press (3b) to activate the flashing of the light source at the mean frequency F2;button (3c) to activate the flickering of the light source at the lowest frequency F3. The invention also includes a way of testing current psychophysical fitness using such a device.
