AN ETHANOL CRUDE EXTRACT FROM ORTHOSIPHON ARISTATUS OR BALBAS PUSA FOR IN VITRO ANTI-PROLIFERATIVE AND ANTIOXIDATIVE ACTIVITIES

The present utility model relates to a product obtainable from a process of producing an ethanol crude extract from orthosiphon aristatus or balbas pusa that showed in vitro anti-proliferative and antioxidative activities on MCF-7 Breast Carcinoma Cell using MIT Assay. The process of producing ethanol crude extract from orthosiphon aristatus or balbas pusa comprises the steps of: a. gathering leaves of orthosiphon aristatus or balbas pusa; b. washing the leaves to remove extraneous particles; c. rinsing the washed leaves in distilled water; and d. extracting ethanol crude from the rinsed leaves.
