Disclosed is a power generation device based on a magnetic hysteresis material, comprising: an energy collection module, a coil, a cantilever beam, an energy storage module, and a balance weight. The coil is wound around the cantilever beam, such that when the cantilever beam oscillates vertically, an electric current generated at the coil is transmitted to the energy collection module via a wire and is rectified and collected, and the electric current is ultimately transmitted to the energy storage module and stored therein. The invention overcomes the problem that prior-art power generation devices are cumbersome, incur high manufacturing costs, and have a complicated system. The invention provides a power generation device that is easy to install and use and that has low manufacturing costs and a simple system.
