The invention relates to an electrostatic precipitation system for capturing particulate matter in combustion equipment such as residential stoves, boilers and biomass combustion furnaces using wood, pellets and coal, which comprises: a metal tube; a box of electrical components welded to the metal tube, containing ventilation slits; a hinged door with an opening handle; opening and closing sensors; a removable metal electrode, bent by 90° at one end, located inside the tube; a metal bar with recesses at the top for assembly with the removable electrode, insulated electrically by an insulating tube and a ceramic insulator; an external electrical assembly formed by a box with a power source, provided with a safety system, a switch, a power cable and a plug that connects to the box of electrical components.
