According to an embodiment of the present invention, a train operation scheduling assist system comprises an acquisition processing unit and a display processing unit. The acquisition processing unit acquires: inter-station operation time necessary time data representing a first necessary time which is necessary for a train to travel from a departure station to an arrival station; inter-station operation time allowance time data representing a first allowance time which is obtained by subtracting the first necessary time from an operation time, of the train, set as a target value for a section from the departure station to the arrival station and which can absorb delay of the train; station stoppage time necessary time data representing a second necessary time during which the train needs to be stopped at the arrival station; and station stoppage time allowance time data representing a second allowance time which is obtained by subtracting the second necessary time from a stoppage time, of the train, set as a target value for the arrival station. The display processing unit displays a time table of the train in which at least the first necessary time and the first allowance time are placed as items concerning the operation time of the train, and at least the second necessary time and the second allowance time are placed as items concerning the stoppage time of the train.
