A product recommendation method and apparatus, a computer device, and a computer readable storage medium. Supplementing the items in a product score matrix for which a user has not implemented scoring to obtain a virtual score matrix without null values; on the basis of the virtual score matrix after supplementary scoring, searching for a similar user set of a target user; and, on the basis of the score data of the similar user set for a product, recommending the product to the user. Using the virtual score matrix after supplementary scoring to search for a similar user set of the target user can improve the accuracy of calculating similar users, thereby improving the accuracy of product recommendation.
