An inflation-type large flotation machine and a flotation method therefor. The flotation machine comprises a flotation tank (1), a flow guide device (2), a foam groove (3), a crossbeam (4), a driving device (5), a stirring shaft (6), and a stator (7). The flow guide device (2) supports the stator (7) such that same is at the middle of the flotation tank (1); the foam groove (3) is a built-in independent structure; an adjusting screw (3-5) is used for hanging the foam groove (3) on the crossbeam (4); a plurality of radial foam grooves (3-3) are disposed on an inner side of the foam groove (3); and steady flow plates (3-4) are disposed under the radial foam grooves (3-3).
