摘要

The invention relates to a shape-memory alloy which allows a flat steel product to be produced with less effort than in the prior art, said product having a high restoring capability. For this purpose, the shape-memory alloy according to the invention consists of (in wt.%) C: ≤ 1%, Mn: 30 - 40%, AI: 10 - 14%, Ni: 7 - 10%, Se: ≤ 0.1%, P: ≤ 0.1%, S: ≤ 0.3%, N: ≤ 0.1%, and a remainder of iron and unavoidable impurities, wherein the contents of Cr, Cu, Mo, Nb, Ti, V, Zn, and Co are to be added to the impurities with the proviso that the sum of the contents of the impurities ≤ 3%. A flat steel product produced from such an alloy has pseudo-elastic properties, a structure which consists of up to 60 percent by surface of ferrite immediately after the hot rolling process, and a total restoring capability (GR) of at least 35%. The invention likewise relates to a method for producing such a flat steel product.
