The object of the present invention is a device for measuring muscle strength comprising an electrostimulator (1) provided with at least two electrodes (1.1) for placing on the skin of a measured subject at the motor point of the measured muscle, a sensor (2), and an analyser (3); wherein the sensor (2) is adapted for transmitting signals, proportional to muscle response to electrostimulation pulses, to the analyser (3), and comprises a fixation means allowing joint movement of the measured limb, the fixation means is provided with at least one pressure pad (2.3) connected to a source (3.1) of compressed air. The analyser (3) for analysing changes in air pressure of the pressure pad (2.3) is connected to the pressure pad (2.3) through a pressure hose (3.2). The analyser (3) and the sensor (2) are feedback-coupled to the electrostimulator (1) and the electrodes (1.1). The present invention further relates to a method for measuring muscle strength and use thereof.
