Provided is a skill index provision device that calculates a skill index for a user on the basis of an operation log for the user, the device comprising: a storage means for storing the operation log of the user; and a skill index calculation means for calculating the skill index on the basis of respective variance values of an operation log that pertains to the accuracy of a key operation executed by the user and an operation log that pertains to the speed of the key operation.
