A passive sensor, a passive sensor system, and an operation method. The passive sensor comprises an antenna module, a first radio frequency switch array (A), an impedance matching network, a second radio frequency switch array (B), a data collection module, an energy harvesting module, a data transmission module, an energy storage unit, a single-chip microcomputer, a protection circuit module, and a sensing module. The passive sensor system comprises the passive sensor and a user terminal, and the user terminal transmits a radio frequency signal and performs data communication with the passive sensor. The sensor is capable of autonomously harvesting radio frequency energy from an environment or a specific radio frequency energy source by a radio frequency energy harvesting unit built into the sensor without employing a wired charging module. The invention achieves wireless charging of a body-worn sensor, and eliminates the step of detaching and recharging a battery in the body-worn sensor, thereby improving safety thereof.
